Recycling plastic packaging

0 1

Is there anywhere to recycle all the plastic packaging that comes with Christmas? I have a couple of bags containing food trays, plastic inserts from children's toys etc and feel loathed to put it in the rubbish bin (we are on fortnightly collections and I only have a small wheelie bin).

I have looked at the bank locator but can't find anything specific other than for plastic bottles.

Recycling in restaurants

3 347

Hi all,

I'm doing a university project on recycling in London restaurants and was wondering if anyone knew what the laws were on how much recycling is required of restaurants and bars. The project came about as there were lots of stories about bad recycling practices in London. In particular if anyone has any personal experience of restaurants or bars that are known to be bad at recycling that would be really useful.

Thank-you for your help.
