recycle-more!

From February 2010, new laws mean that most shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries. Most supermarkets and many high street shops will have collection points, and some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection schemes.

Compliance Schemes, such as Valpak Limited, are working alongside collection partners and Local Authorities, and have established a system to provide you with the opportunity to recycle your household batteries.

You can also recycle batteries at many Household Waste & Recycling Centres (HWRCs).

Type your postcode into the recycle-more bank locator to find where you can recycle your batteries.

Don't forget to take other recyclable items with you!
